Christmas isn’t far away now, and I know some of you will be thinking enough already, but actually I feel that after everything everyone has been through it will be nice if we can have a normal Christmas this year.
The sponsor for the CRAFT challenge #617 is ADU and the theme is Christmas. Each week we invite you to join us at Trimmies Craft Challenge going with the theme.

This is more of a contemporary Christmas card with the bright coloured hats and scarves and the dotty base card. I coloured this image with some coloured pencils this time as not everyone has fancy pens or watercolours so now and again it’s nice to show different colouring mediums.
The snow effect was achieved with some fake snow and also some glitter glue so there is some texture as well as sparkle.
So here’s a summary of the materials:
- Grey and white polka dot 300gsm A4 sheet folded to make a base card and cut to size
- All Dressed Up (ADU) penguins digital image
- Colouring pencils
- Iridescent glitter glue
- Fake snow
- Tacky glue
- Black card as a mat, slightly larger than the focal image
- Christmas Wishes sentiment
As always it’s lovely to see that you’ve stopped by to leave a comment. Thank you.
