Christmas the last stretch!

The sponsor for the CRAFT challenge #622 is Colour of Love and the theme is Christmas. Each week we invite you to join us at Trimmies Craft Challenge going with the theme.

The image has been coloured with Chameleon pens. With the tree I wanted some variation in colour so I’ve added glitter to every other layer. In each of the 2 corners I added a snowflake corner stamp and some word stamps to help frame the image. Then I inked with the Iced Spruce and stamped with the snowflake stamp on the base card.

So here’s a summary of the materials used to make the card:

  • White 5.5×6.5” 300gsm base card
  • Digital image
  • “Iced Spruce” distress oxide ink
  • Chameleon pens (NU2, NU00, GR1, NU3, PK3, BR1, BG3, WG3, NG4, BG4, BL3)
  • Nuvo Glitter drops (Silver Moondust, Spring Frost)
  • Silver Star Gelly Roll pen
  • Crafty Roo snowflake corner stamp and word stamps
  • Stamp Addicts snowflake stamp

Thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment. X

TTCRD anything goes challenge – 17th November 2020

I’ve been crafting to keep myself occupied recently which is helpful to take my mind of life. So this challenge is using an imaged from our sponsor this time is Colour of Love. Join us at Through the craft room door (TTCRD) and lets see what you can do. It’s always lovely to see your creations.

I coloured the image with chameleon pens, kept the image the focal point by adding a gold mat, but felt that the papers set off the colour combination.

CRAFT challenge #573 – ATG / optional Christmas twist

We are having a Design Team Call. If you would like to be part of our fun, friendly team then check out the details below. You don’t have to have any previous DT experience so if you fancy ‘getting your feet wet’ just get in touch here.

We are looking for several permanent designers who like the rest of us are committed crafters. All we ask is that you commit to producing one project a week, following the themes and using any freebies that our generous sponsors provide. You will need to have a blog to share your creations and advertise the challenge to coincide with the time the challenge goes live. We also ask that you comment on allocated entries to the challenge – this is a great way to get inspiration for your own crafting. It’s that simple!

So now to this weeks Christmas card for Trimmies Craft Challenge using “Carolling” from our sponsor this time is Colour of Love.

I’ve coloured this digital image with Chameleon pens (CG9, NU0, BL3, RD2, BL2, YO3, NU1, GR1, GR2, NU2, NU00, WG3, BR2, YL2, NU4, RD4, YO2), matted onto mottled green, gold and then a striped coordinating paper. I added die cut snowflakes from a glitter card to frame the carolling girl.
