Anything is possible…

The sponsor for this challenge is Oddball Art Co. Each week we invite you to join us at the Through the craft room door blog, the theme is always anything goes!

girl standing in front of a wall

The image has been coloured with coloured pencils which I’m loving at the moment. I then added detail along the sides with a stitch effect die and inked around the edge of the topper. A sentiment was added into the speech bubble and to fill the gap I felt like the faither flower fitted in with the theme. If anything is possible you need to have faith don’t you?

Here is a summary of the materials:

  • White 300gsm card base
  • Image from Oddball Art Co
  • Sentiment from JMC stamps
  • Coloured pencils
  • Distress oxide ink
  • Flower “faith” die cut

As always, I hope that you like the card. It’s lovely to see that you’ve stopped by to leave a comment. Thank you.

Dream Valley Challenge #208 – buttons and/or a bow

Come over to the Dream Valley challenge and join us for our latest challenge! Our sponsor this time is Oddball Art.

Buttons and a bow were needed for this challenge and I managed to use them! I chose the background paper first in this project and then used the coordinating colours from my Chameleon pens. I stamped the sentiment and inked around the edge with distress oxide ink. I stuck the girl to the side of the sentiment and mounted this slightly off centre so that my bow could go to the left of the image and the buttons to the right.

#196 Dream Valley – Sparkle and shine

Come over to the Dream Valley challenge and join us for our latest challenge! Our sponsor this week is Oddball Art Co.

I chose to water colour this digital image with some sparkle pens I have in my stash so that the sparkle theme was throughout.

You’ll hopefully see the sparkle from this close up!

I had the background paper in my stash from a pixie powder background making session I’d had last year. But as we know we keep these things until we have the right project that comes along. The mica in those powders is certainly sparkly and shiny too.

The ribbon I added to this project is yet another shiny element. I hope that you like the sparkle and shine here as I do.
