Rugby girls

I decided it was too long since I’d make a scrapbook page so I chose a few photos I’d already printed and got to work to create a page (or two) with the July SID single page sketch.

From this sketch I chose to create two scrapbook pages as I’d printed 3 pictures. These will create a double page spread in my scrapbook, but they are based on the single page sketch July challenge.

Cutting the spotted accent 12″ x 12″ page up to fit the theme gave me enough pieces to create the two pages I made (and as we know crafters don’t like waste!). My two girls both play rugby and these pictures were made at the New Years Eve party 2018 at their rugby club with one of their friends. The first page shows the 3 girls who were in the u13, u15 and u18 squads at the time.

I’m so pleased that I took some time out to create these pages and I hope to be creating more as the SID challenges give me a month to prepare since I don’t always have time to create things when challenges are normally only for a week at a time.

Brilliant

I’m so excited to post this as I am posting as a guest designer for SID since I won their April card design with my Lego card that I made for my nephew James in Canada.

The card sketch I was given is this one

And these are the cards I’ve made

For the first of these cards I’ve created a process video (below) and with the left over triangles I created the second card for my younger daughter. She’s a Dumbo fan so although she was turning 13 it was appropriate for her.

Take a look at the Card creation video for the first card and I hope you find this useful it’s on my YouTube channel. I hope you found this useful, if so let me know by leaving a comment.
