TTCRD anything goes challenge – 3rd November 2020

I’ve been crafting to keep myself occupied recently which is helpful to take my mind of life. So this challenge is using an imaged from our sponsor this time is Hetty Clare. Join us at Through the craft room door (TTCRD) and lets see what yo can do. It’s always lovely to see your creations.

I printed out this digital image and coloured it with Chameleon pens (NU00, RD2, RD4, GR1, GR2, NG4, BK4, WG7, PK3, CG5, N2). If you’ve not tried them they are lovely to work with. I cut the image out leaving a border around the edge and mounted it onto two mats. I knew I had a paper pack with a cat theme so I found this out and added this into the background with a sentiment.

I look forward to reading your comments.

TTCRD anything goes challenge – 24th March 2020

Come and join us for the latest challenge from Through the craft room door (TTCRD). Our sponsor this time is Hetty Clare.

Such a cute image. The sun was out this weekend while I was colouring this image hence why I think I went for a yellow theme! I used my Chameleon pens (YL2, NU00, YO2, BR1, WG3, GR1, NG4, YO3, GR2, VO2, NU2, BV2, BL2) to colour her in. I then stamped the sentiment at the base of this topper and extended the line to either side to form a border around the topper. I then also edged the topper with distress inks mustard seed and shabby shutters.

In the current situation I hope that you are all finding respite in your lockdown via craft, and I hope that we can all be over this soon.

Happy crafting!

TTCRD Anything goes challenge – 22nd October 2019

I’m quite excited that I’ve just joined another design team – Through the craft room door (TTCRD), so this is my debut posting for them. I hope you’ll join us with our latest challenge using an image from our sponsor this time Hetty Clare – called Country Girl.

I’ve coloured ‘Country Girl’ with my Chameleon pens (BL3, BL7, YO2, YO3, NU2, NU0, CG5, NU00, GR1, BL4, NU3, BL2, BV4, GR2, YG3, NU1, VO2, CG9, PK2, PK4).

She so cute. I used an oval die to set her off on a pink centura pearl card as the background. I didn’t want a busy backing paper to take away from the beautiful image! I then stamped the sentiment ‘life is better with friends’ and added some flowers which I’d already got made up in my stash.

I think this is a really lovely digi Stamp and hope you do too!
