Welcome to this weeks challenge at Trimmies Craft Challenge is for an easel card and our sponsor this week is ADU.
I chose this cute image and used coloured pencils to colour it. I then decided to frame the image with a CCW die which I’ve not used yet. It’s a really lovely sized die which frames the image well and is shown off well with the deep red card complimenting the red in the flowers.

This gorgeous girl is coloured with Chameleon pens (NU1, PK2, NU00, NG4, PK3, GR1, NU2, BR1, WG3) and Nuvo pen 487. I felt the sentiment stamp “all you need is love” summed up the love/Valentine theme for this challenge. I rounded the corners of my topper and inked it in a toning colour, rounded the corners of the silver mat and mounted it onto a floral card to set off the flowers in her hair.

This digital image made me smile. It makes me think that some people are made to be together and work together. These love birds certainly seem to be working together.
I’ve coloured this image with Chameleon pens and then added a stamped sentiment and stamped corner flourish. I cut the topper to fit onto a scalloped DL card blank and rounded the corners. With the mauve chameleon pen I edged the topper to give it a little bit of definition.

I loved this typewriter when I saw it, so I was really pleased to work with it. The typewriter image has been coloured with Chameleon pens, I’ve made the flowers to tone in with everything and added some leaves and the lacey background.

I coloured this image with Chameleon pens (GR2, GR1, NU0, WG3, NU00, PK3, RD4, NU2, RD3, BL2). I then die cut the snowflake flourish edge onto each side of the image and mounted this onto a corresponding background paper. I added gems for some sparkle after all you can’t ever have enough sparkle and added a sentiment.

I love these balloons and I hope you’ll agree that they are beautifully summery. I can imagine them floating in a summer sky. I used my Chameleon pens to colour the balloons, stamped the ‘with love’ sentiment and inked around the edges of the topper with distress ink. I then used the same distress ink to stamp onto the 6×6″ card blank.
I’ve spent most of my weekend watching my children play football and rugby so it was lovely to be able to come in out of the cold and take a moment to craft. Wind, sleet, hail, it was awful!

I used the image “love my iPad”. Most kids these days have an devices so when I saw this image from All Dressed Up I wanted to use it!
I used images of iPhones to put the girl with her iPad and the lettering HB2U (happy birthday to you). Behind the HB2U I cut out the centre panel of the iPhone and replaced it with a brush background I created which was in my stash. The girl I coloured with pencil crayons and the rest of the card is toned with distress inks.

Brads come in all shapes and sizes these days and on this card I’ve used two. One of them is the dragonfly and the other I’ve used in the centre of the flower. The doily on the other hand was one I cut from the built in patterns on my scan n cut machine along with the two swirls at the top left on the card and the mats.
The image was coloured with Chameleon pens and the card blank is one I cut from Kit and Caboodle.
