#506 CRAFT challenge – spring/Easter

The flowers are coming out and it’s getting closer to Easter, so this weeks theme seems fitting!

I’ve chosen to make my card in the theme of Spring with a fitting image of a girl sitting out on the grass among the flowers and creatures.

I wanted to use a slightly different shaped card this week as it’s sometimes good to do something a little different. She is coloured with Chameleon pens. The colours seemed to fit a background I’d created with inks and spritzers and a stencil a while back (it’s amazing how as a crafter you just know sometimes that you have a perfect background in your stash).

The background with the honeycomb then led me to using a hexagon for the stopper piece inside the card to hold the card front in place when it’s standing. Upon this I included a sentiment (also from Oddball Art). To sit either side of the hexagon sentiment I used two flowers which I’d got already stamped, cut and coloured in my stash.

#460 CRAFT challenge – Spring/Easter

I had a couple of rabbits and the girl stamp in my stash as well as the background. Putting these together made me think of Easter, spring and April showers. I hope you like the combination.
