Beautiful flower blooms

As the year progresses and the weather gets better the flowers in the garden are starting to bloom and it’s looking much more pretty.

The sponsor for this challenge is Jan’s digital stamps. Each week we invite you to join us at the Through the craft room door blog, the theme is always anything goes!

The flower blooms image has been coloured pencils which I’m loving at the moment. I then inked around the edge of the topper rectangle with the same ink that I had used to stamp onto the base card with a flower border. On the two long sides I then added some detail with an x border die.

Here is a summary of the materials:

  • White 300gsm card base
  • Floral blooms image from Jan’s digital stamps
  • Sentiment also from Jan’s digital stamps
  • Coloured pencils
  • Distress oxide ink
  • Flower stamp

As always, I hope that you like the card. It’s lovely to see that you’ve stopped by to leave a comment. Thank you.

CRAFT challenge – #613

The sponsor for this challenge is Jan’s Digital Stamps and the theme is anything goes. Each week we invite you to join us at Trimmies Craft Challenge going with the theme.

I chose one of this flower vase and this beautiful sentiment. The sentiment resonates, I think, after all of the lockdowns we have had over the last 18 months or so. Everyone has had their moments, but we have come through it and survived!

I coloured the image with chameleon pens and added some ink around the topper to help frame the image, but wanted to soften the block shape by adding some die cut borders. This was put onto a darker pink mat and all of this is added to a pink and white polka dot 300gsm base card.

As always it’s lovely to see that you’ve stopped by to leave a comment. Thank you.

CRAFT challenge #549 – ATG (extra added theme of Christmas animals)

Come and join us at Trimmies Craft Challenge. Our sponsor this time is Jan’s digital stamps.

For this cute image I used Chameleon pens (BG4, YO2, YO3, RD5, BG3, VO2, CG5, PK5, PR4, BL3, RD4, YL2. nG4, BL6) along with Distress ink Mowed Lawn to colour around the mats. The background paper is one I picked up in The Works a little while ago, but I could just imagine that these mischievous penguins weren’t adhering to any ‘elf and safety rules!

I’d like to enter this into:
