#490 CRAFT challenge – Christmas Present

Come and join us at Trimmies Craft Challenge. Our sponsor for this challenge is All Dressed Up.

This weeks challenge gave me another chance to make a Christmas card! Like last week I have used Chloe’s stamps and dies either side of this girl sitting on top of the Christmas presents.

I stamped, heat embossed and die cut the sprays either side of the ADU image and then created two separate poinsettias to layer up the centre flower on either side. The sentiment on this card is also one of Chloe’s. I kept the colours simple to make the main image stand out a little more.

I coloured this image with a variety of skin colour tone pens, just to show that you don’t have to use things as they are badged. On top of the wings and shoes I also added some quickie glue and some glimmer dust.

#489 CRAFT challenge – Winter

Come and join us at Trimmies Craft Challenge. Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps.

For this winter challenge I chose to go Christmasy and chose the Christmas glass. All full of baubles to get the Christmas season started. I know I’m a little early but crafters need to start Christmas early otherwise we simply run out of time!

So for this card I chose to combine the glass with some of Chloe’s stamps and dies which I stamped, heat embossed and water-coloured. The glass I coloured with some sparkly pens and then added some glaze over the glass itself.

I mounted this all up to frame the image and set it off.

#461 CRAFT challenge – shaped card, not rectangular

For this challenge our sponsor is The Cutting Cafe and the shaped card I’m using is the teapot. Come and take a look and join us at the CRAFT challenge.

Recipe: white 300gsm card, white 160gsm card, distress inks – crushed olive, twisted citron, shabby shutters. Stayz on jet black ink. Stamps by Chloe flower stamp, bubble stamp, a sentiment from my stash, and Chameleon pens.

I cut the teapot from The Cutting Cafe and also the lid. These were both inked and stamped on. I stamped the flowers and coloured those and cut them out.

It’s a cute little teapot that could be used for afternoon tea invitations! I hope you like my teapot card.
